Either way, you won't be charged a cent until you decide to stay: Starter converts automatically once your 14 days are up, Full Setup only kicks in once you ask us to start building. After that, it's the same $40/month either way.
💳 Stripe is built into your store so you can take card payments from your own customers — you'll need a free Stripe account, and Stripe's standard processing fees apply per transaction (domestic cards from 1.7% + 30¢ NZD). browse.nz adds nothing on top of that. Anything you pay us (setup fee, monthly hosting) is invoiced separately and paid by bank transfer — no card needed on our side, ever.

A custom e-commerce build from a NZ web agency typically runs $7,000–$10,000. browse.nz can offer setup from $499 because your store runs on purpose-built, proven infrastructure — not built from scratch each time.
The $1,299 Full Setup option is for businesses that want all the initial setup done for them — ideal if you're moving from Shopify or a spreadsheet and don't want to spend time configuring anything. We only invoice it once we actually start building, so there's no cost to you while you're deciding.
The $499 Starter is for businesses happy to set things up themselves. Your store runs free for the full 14 days — if you keep going, we invoice the $499 setup fee automatically once your trial ends, payable within 7 days by bank transfer. If it's not for you, cancel any time during the trial and you won't be charged anything.
Either way, the ongoing cost is identical — $40 a month, same platform, same 1,000 product fair-use limit. The only thing the setup fee buys is whether you do the configuring or we do.
